Netafim 2" MPT - Dual Lite Disc Filter for Lawn & Garden Irrigation
Product Overview
Clogged emitters and uneven distribution uniformity are the quickest ways to ruin a professional landscape installation; especially when peak summer heat arrives. When filtration fails, your crews face hours of manual flushing, costly nozzle replacements, and the risk of turf loss that can damage your reputation. Given current global supply chain fluctuations and high seasonal demand for filtration components, waiting until a system fails to order replacements often leads to weeks of downtime. Planning your inventory now ensures that your projects stay on schedule, your inspections pass on the first visit, and your clients remain satisfied with a system that performs flawlessly from day one.
The Netafim Dual Lite Disc Filter provides a significant technical advantage over standard screen filters by utilizing a deep, three dimensional filtration process. While screen filters can be bypassed by sharp debris or easily shredded under high pressure, these grooved plastic discs compress to trap organic and inorganic contaminants throughout the entire depth of the stack. This design drastically extends the intervals between cleanings, reducing your long term maintenance labor and protecting expensive downstream components like pressure compensated dripline and high efficiency rotors. Carrying these professional grade filters gives your business a competitive edge by offering a more robust, reliable solution compared to lower grade retail alternatives.

Installation Notes
Ensure the filter is installed with the flow arrow pointing in the correct direction and allow for at least ten inches of clearance to remove the filter cover for maintenance. Use high quality PTFE thread sealant on the 2 inch MPT connections to prevent leaks, but avoid over tightening which can stress the housing. We recommend installing a manual blow down valve on the bottom port to allow for quick flushing of heavy sediment during routine site visits.
